This policy covers Anne Archer Associates Ltd (“us”, “we”, “our”) and clients, prospective clients and/or users of our website or attendees at a Course or Event (“you”, “your”, “yourself”).
We cover on and offline interactions. It gets a bit ‘legal’ so you might need a chocolate chip cookie for the journey.*
This policy explains how and why we collect data and what we do with it. We cover how you can control your stored data.

There are two lawful bases for processing your data – Consent and Contract. We apply both to our work where relevant.
Consent: you have given consent for us to process personal data for a specific purpose

Contract: where processing is necessary to complete a contract.
Who is collecting the data?
Anne Archer Associates Ltd, approved associates and third party providers.
What data could be collected?
Given your consent we might collect name, contact details (for example: phone numbers, email addresses, work and home addresses) and contact form messages.
With permission we may record some sessions using audio, video and photography.
We may ask for testimonials, quotes and reviews and subsequently with permission use them in our marketing materials.
Proposals, meeting dates, notes, and action points could be stored. We could also store psychometrics, 360 feedback, goals, aspirations and challenges templates.
Is my data shared?
Data could be shared with third party suppliers who provide services for us (for example psychometric testing).
How is my data used?
Your contact details could be used for our mailing list (if you have signed up) or communication during our working relationship.
Your contact details could be used to respond to messages received via the website, courses or events.
Documentation such as psychometric tests, 360 feedback and goals, aspirations and challenges templates data could be shared between us, approved third parties and yourself.
We may contact you outlining services we think may be of interest. You have to express consent before we start mailing you. All marketing emails will carry an unsubscribe link.
At any point you can ask to have your data removed from our systems and to stop receiving communications from us. Please contact us to action a deletion request.
Data storage and security
How long do we store your data?
Your name and contact details will be stored indefinitely given your express consent.
Unless agreed before hand on completion of the contract all of our copies of working documentation will be deleted. You will be responsible for management of your own copies of data, documentation and communications.
At any point you can ask to have your data removed from our systems and to stop receiving communications from us. Please contact us to action a deletion request.
Data security and privacy
We place great importance on data security. We have measures in place to attempt to protect against the loss, misuse and alteration of data under our control. Our policies are periodically reviewed and enhanced if necessary. Only authorised personnel have access to client information.
Some data is stored on password protected computers and mobile phones located in the UK. All our devices receive software updates in sync with manufacturers cycles.
Some data, with your consent, may be stored and shared through services such as Dropbox or Google Drive. You can view Dropbox policies here and Google policies here.
If you sign up to our mailing lists you will be added to a MailerLite list. MailerLite is a service we use to manage our emails. We ask you to review MailerLite’s policies before joining our lists.
At any point you can ask to have your data removed from our systems and to stop receiving any communications from us. Please contact us to action a deletion request.
What rights do you have?
You may request to see your data held by us and have it updated or deleted, as per articles 15, 16, & 17 of the Regulations.
At any point you may withdraw consent and opt-out of any marketing communications by contacting us.
How can you raise a complaint?
If you have any concerns with how we manage your data please get in touch. If further escalation is required you can lodge a complaint with the Information Commissioner’s Office in the UK.
